Woman shot by hubby dies in RAK

An Emirati woman shot by her husband in Ras Al Khaimah early this month died on Saturday after suffering serious wounds, a newspaper reported on Sunday.

The Arabic language daily Al Bayan quoted doctors at Saqr Hospital as saying the woman died after suffering from complications.

Reports early this month said the husband, also in his 40s, opened fire at his wife at their home in the Northern emirate before handing himself over to the police.
