Woman slightly hurt after hitting donkey on RAK road

Traffic police rushing to a street in Ras Al Khaimah after a report of an accident were surprised to see only one car was involved. When they asked about the other car, the woman pointed to the other side of the road where it lay—a donkey.

The 25-year-old Arab driver said she hit the pavement after she could not avert knocking over the stray donkey, resulting in a fracture in her hand.

“She was taken to hospital for treatment while police investigated the strange accident,” the Arabic language daily Alkhaleej said without mentioning if the donkey survived.
