Worker accused of stealing 160 scaffolds

Police in the Eastern port of Khorfakkan arrested an Asian worker on charges of stealing 160 scaffolds from a construction company which employs him.

The worker confessed that he nabbed the scaffolds at different periods of time to lease them and make money, according to the Arabic language daily 'Al Ittihad'.

The company’s manager had reported the man to the police for stealing the scaffolds as well as a power generator and a large quantity of marble stones.
