Worker wins Dh1m damages for impotence

An Arab construction worker who suffered from impotence after an accident at the work site won Dh1 million damages in a court case in Fujairah.

The appeals court in the eastern emirate upheld a previous verdict and ordered the employing contracting company to pay damages to the worker.

The worker filed for damages after medical tests showed he suffered from permanent impotency when he fell down from the top of a building under construction. He also suffered from multiple fractures.
