World’s largest plane lands in Abu Dhabi

The world’s largest cargo aircraft, the Antonov AN225, landed at Abu Dhabi International Airport for the first time on Saturday, May 21.

Arriving from Kiev with 160 tonnes of cargo, the plane was unloaded and returned to Ukraine later Saturday evening.

Dubai hosted the world’s largest plane last week on Tuesday, when Antonov An-225 Mriya touched down at the Al Maktoum International Airport.
