A burger, cooked at the Dubai Mall was sold for Dh25,690 ($7000) at an event organised by the Pink Caravan team as part of their drive to spread awareness about breast cancer and the need for early detection.
According to ‘Emarat Al Youm’, this is the most expensive burger in the world, outdoing the previous record of $5,000 in Las Vegas.
The burger was prepared by Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdullah Al Thani, Chairman of the Department of Statistics and Community Development in Sharjah, in support of Pink Caravan’s mission.
Al Thani is a Pink Caravan ambassador.
The Board of Trustees and Friends of Cancer Patients expressed their thanks to Galleries Lafayette for their support in hosting of the event.
