Yet another fire in Sharjah...

A huge new fire has broken out in Sharjah on Sunday evening, the fourth in the last couple of days. Firemen were still trying to put out the fire at the time of reporting. Also, an road accident happened because the driver of a vehicle was distracted by the smoke from the fire.

Earlier, a fire was reported from industrial area 13 in Sharjah on Sunday morning. Commuters driving into Dubai from Sharjah were stuck asa traffic moved slowly because of people slowing down to watch the incident.

Pictures taken by reader Ala Shbib from Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road show dark smoke covering the area.

At 5pm, smoke was still billowing from the fire, according to commuters between Dubai and Sharjah.
