Zakat Fund donates Dh9.4m this year

Zakat Fund has donated about Dh9,480,638 so far this year to help about 520 cases involving the elderly, as part of its charity project to help the poor and the needy.

Mohammed Al Balushi, Zakat Recipients Department Manager, said the project aims to provide financial aid to elderly people to ease their difficult circumstances and ensure a decent life for them.

Al Balushi urged beneficiaries to submit their applications via the official website of the Zakat Fund.
