Engineer Dr Abdullah Belhaiv, Minister of Public of Works, Board Chairman of the Zayed Housing Programme (ZHP), has ordered the announcement of list of 800 Emiratis, the first batch of beneficiaries of housing aid across the UAE Emirates, at total cost of Dh400 million.
The move comes within the framework of Dh1.1 billion housing aid to Emiratis this year endorsed earlier by the Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Al Nuaimi said the announcement of other batches of beneficiaries will follow within the next five weeks, noting that the administration of ZHP has set up operation teams to reach the target of 5, 000 applicants within the specified period.
He added that the priority will be given to those who want to start building their houses.
