ERC distributes food aid to Bab-el-Mandeb population, Yemen

The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, has continued its relief and humanitarian work in Yemen. The authority provided food aid to the families in Bab-el-Mandeb area who are facing dire economic conditions.

The ERC team on Thursday distributed 2700 food parcels to thousands of people in Bab-el-Mandeb in line with the authority's efforts to support poor Yemeni areas and enhance the living and humanitarian conditions of the population.

The distribution process is underway according to a mechanism followed by the philanthropist organisation to ensure delivery of food aid to beneficiaries.
