Etisalat restores internet outage on Friday in Dubai

Etisalat users in Dubai can surf the internet without any trouble as the internet services were restored by the telecom provider around 4:30pm. 

Earlier this morning, Etisalat users across Dubai were facing internet blockage due to technical issues. The problem started early this (Friday) morning.

An Etisalat customer care official said the problem was limited to Dubai emirate alone and work was on to rectify the problem at the earliest.

“The outage is mainly in Dubai,” the person said over the phone.

 

According to him the cause the problem was caused due to network-related issues. “It is related to detection of the IP,” he said.

 

“We are expecting it to be rectified by about 4pm today,” he added.

 

Earlier this morning three different calls to Etisalat customer care resulted in several minutes of troubleshooting with modems being disconnected to restart the router and other similar exercises.
