Ex-air stewardess threatens to shoot crew

A slew of horror tales of cabin crew suffering terrible abuse from customers  have emerged. These have mostly been without any justification – often for petty issues like ‘knee defenders’ – and have put the spotlight firmly on airline passenger behaviour.

So surely, when a former air stewardess is on a flight, the cabin crew serving her can expect some understanding.

Not so on a recent New York to London, Heathrow on British Airways flight.

According to a Daily Mail report, a former air hostess American Brie Ann Johnson, 35, was drinking wine on top of anti-anxiety medication and what ensued was another nightmare for airline staff.

Johnson is accused of telling the airlines crew: “I'm going to shoot you in the face,” after barricading herself inside business class toilet.

She also allegedly kicked and punched a crew member.

Referring to a case heard at Isleworth Crown Court last week, the Mail report alludes to the lady being drunk on and assaulting BA cabin crew staff Craig Stoner and David Shaw on August 3.

The court heard how the defendant was inebriated that she wet herself while she was carried back to the galley.

When police officers arrived at Terminal Five to meet Miss Jonson she was clearly drunk, the court heard.
