A Saudi man chasing monkeys raiding his farm accidentally killed a 70-year-old man when he opened fire with his machine gun at the fleeing animals.
One bullet hit the old man in the chest as his car was passing in the area just outside Jayef town in the Southern Asir province.
When he rushed to the car to check the old man, the driver jumped out and stabbed the farmer many times, seriously injuring him.
‘Ajel’ newspaper said the wounded farmer, in his 60s, was rushed to hospital while the driver was arrested.
