Filipina held for meeting man in car

Saudi Arabia’s religious police arrested a Filipina after seizing her meeting a Saudi man in his car, press reports said on Thursday.

Members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice found the couple inside the car during routine night patrol in the eastern port of Kbobar, the Arabic language daily Sabq said.

“They arrested the Filipina and the Saudi man on charges of having an illegitimate meeting,” it said.
