Flood forces evacuation of suburban Dallas homes

Almost two dozen homes have been evacuated in a Dallas suburb after days of heavy rains overflowed a neighborhood lake.

Authorities recommend voluntary evacuations in a flooded neighborhood in southern Rockwall was ordered after runoff in Buffalo Creek overflowed Rockwall Lake, about 20 miles northeast of Dallas.

Several homes have been inundated, but no injuries have been reported.
