Girl kills snake attacking parents

A 20-year-old Saudi girl killed a two-metre snake which was crawling towards her ageing parents while they were asleep at home in the Gulf Kingdom.

The girl was cleaning the house in her village near the Western town of Makkah when she saw the snake heading for her parents’ room.

“She used a big stick to hit the snake on the head until it died. She saved her parents, who were surprised by her bravery,” the Arabic language daily ‘Ajel’ said.
