Dubai Crown Prince observes Commemoration Day

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, Thursday attended a ceremony to mark the Commemoration Day in Dubai.

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan prayed to Allah the Almighty to rest the souls of the martyrs in peace, and grant their families' patience and solace.

The ceremony was attended by Mohammed Al Shaibani, Director General of H.H. The Dubai Ruler's Court, Lt. Gen Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chairman of Police and Public Security, along with a number of senior officials.

After observing a minute's silence to honour the martyrs, Sheikh Hamdan expressed his pride of the UAE youth who have sacrificed their lives for the sake of their homeland, noting that the Commemoration Day will remain indelible in the memory of generations to come as a symbol of loyalty and love for the nation.
