Emirati martyrs bright examples of bravery, source of pride: Mohamed

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Sunday extended condolences to the family of Emirati martyr Hamoud Ali Saleh Al Ameri, who succumbed to wounds received while participating in Operation Restoring Hope, being carried out by the Saudi-led Arab coalition in Yemen.

Serviceman Al Ameri died during treatment in a hospital in Germany.

During his visit to the mourning majlis in Al Yahar area, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed expressed heartfelt sympathies to the martyr's family. He prayed to Allah Almighty to bless the martyr's soul with mercy in Paradise and bestow patience and solace on his family and the UAE people.

The Crown Prince said: "Loving the country, making sacrifices to protect it, standing up for rights and brothers are among the genuine values on which we were raised. God willing, we will continue to further strengthen the commitment of present and future generations to these values, just like our fathers and forefathers did."

He stressed that Emirati martyrs who embodied these values and became bright examples of bravery and intrepidity will always be a source of pride in the UAE.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed said: "Cohesion between citizens is being demonstrated in the best way to show how solid all the UAE thanks to the sincerity of our people and their loyalty to their country in all spheres."

RAK Ruler offers condolences

His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, on Monday offered his condolences to the family of fallen serviceman Hamoud Ali Saleh Al Amiri, who died while participating in the Saudi-led Arab coalition Operation Restore Hope to defend the legitimate government in Yemen.

The Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah expressed his deep condolences and sympathy to the family of the martyr, praying to Allah to bestow his soul with mercy and eternal peace, and to grant his family patience and solace to bear their loss.
