Justice is foundation for stability: Mohammed

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai received Emirati lawyers at his Z'abeel Palace on Friday evening.

Sheikh Mohammed and his guests exchanged greetings on the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, in presence of Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Dubai Deputy Ruler Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the lawyers and discussed with them matters related to law and justice.

He stressed the importance of justice as a foundation for stability and security of the community.

He also expressed pride to see more Emirati men and women entering the legal profession.

Sheikh Mohammed hosted an Iftar banquet for his guests.

Also present at the meeting were Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Cabinet Affairs Minister Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Director of the Dubai Ruler’s Court Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, and Dubai Director of Protocol and Hospitality Khalifa Saeed Suleiman.

Sheikh Mohammed then led the Al Maghreb prayers, calling on almighty God to infuse the holy month of Ramadan with mercy and compassion.
