Khalifa calls for prayers for rain

The President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has called for performance of prayers for rains, known in Arabic language  as 'Salaat Al Istisqaa', at 9am on Thursday in the mosques and musallahs nationwide.

Sheikh Khalifa called on all Muslims living in the country to pray to Allah to bless the land with rain and mercy, in accordance with the Prophet Mohammed's (Peace Be Upon Him) Sunnah Course.
