Khalifa inquires about citizens' well-being

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan received on Tuesday at the Al Rawdha Palace in Al Ain, His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah.

The President also received Crown Prince of Fujairah Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi and Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi.

The meeting was attended by Ruler's Representative in the Eastern Region Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler's Representative Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior L.General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, other Sheikhs and senior state officials.

The President also met with citizens who called on him with greetings. The meetings reflected his keenness to assure himself of the welfare of citizens and enquire them about their needs for guaranteeing them the requirements of decent life and comfort.

The President expressed his happiness over meeting the citizens and exchanging cordial talks with them, and assured them of his keenness to provide them with all the needs for welfare and prosperous life.

The citizens thanked the president for his diligence and expressed their happiness, satisfaction and pride over the attention and care all the citizens get across the country. They also prayed to God almighty for his continued health and wellness and for enabling him to make more achievements in the country's march into progress and prosperity.

At the end of the meeting, the President hosted the lunch for all visitors.

Sheikh Khalifa receives Tunisian PM 
 
Sheikh Khalifa confirmed the depth of brotherly relations between UAE and Tunisia in various fields.

He said this during his meeting with Tunisia's Prime Minister Beji Caid Essebsi, who called on him in Al Ain.

Sheikh Khalifa said that UAE has seen with interest the recent political developments in Tunisia due to the importance of this phase expressing his confidence that Tunisian people can achieve their aspirations in a safe, stable and prosperous country.

He also stressed UAE diversified support to the Tunisian people pointing out that the distinguished relations between UAE and Tunisia in various fields are the result of the fraternal ties between the people of the two countries.

For his part, the Tunisian Prime Minister expressed his pleasure with the visit and meeting with president Khalifa valuing the support of the UAE to the Tunisian people during this historical period.

He also stated that Tunisia government and people are thankful for the support UAE has shown towards Tunisia, stressing the interest of his country to enhance cooperation and coordination between with the UAE in all fields.

The meeting was attended by a number of Ministers, Sheikhs and senior officials from both sides.
