Khalifa orders airlift of citizens injured in Saudi

President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has ordered dispatch of medical aircraft, with an officer from the Ministry of Interior and a medical team from the Health Authority - Abu Dhabi on board, to airlift two Emirati citizens injured in traffic accidents in Saudi Arabia, to complete their treatment in the UAE.

According to a statement issued by the Interior Ministry, the two citizens suffered severe injuries after the vehicle they were travelling in rolled over in Saudi Arabia's Hafr Al Batin area.

They were taken to King Khalid Hospital for treatment.
