She underlined the UAE renounces all forms and manifestations of discrimination, hatred, bigotry, racism, whether locally, regionally or internationally, in partnership with concerned various stakeholders, governments and international organisations.

Sheikha Lubna made the remarks while meeting at World Government Summit, WGS, 2017, with Irina Bokova, Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation, UNESCO, Prince Saud bin Khaled al-Faisal, member of the Board of the General Authority for Investment, Deputy Governor for Investment Affairs Authority, and Chairman of the National Competitiveness Centre in Saudi Arabia, and Jorge Quiroga, former President of the Republic of Bolivia.

She referred to the importance of common human values and ethics that unite peoples as a single coherent entity, citing that the WGS focussed on these core issues that express the human nature and continuous interaction.

The UAE minister also cited the UAE exceptional initiatives to all humanity irrespective of race, sex, religion, sect and creed or social status, referring to the anti-discriminatory and hatred law, which included the provisions to ensure the equality of all members of society in various segments, criminalise abuse, and all sorts of contempt.
