Mohamed bin Zayed meets Westerwelle

General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, yesterday received in Al Ma'moura at Abu Dhabi, the visiting German Federal Foreign Minister Dr. Guido Westerwelle and his accompanying delegation.

The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi welcomed the visit of the German minister and discussed with him bilateral relations and ways to enhance them in the light of the distinguished friendship and mutual strategic interests.

During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed and Westerwelle reviewed the existing cooperation ties and stressed the importance of enhancing them to include all development sectors, particularly the economic, social, educational and investment domains.

They also tackled the outcomes of the P5+ 1 negotiations, over Tehran's nuclear programme, in addition to the existing efforts to convene Geneva 2 Conference on the Syrian crisis amid international community's desire to hold the conference at the earliest.

The two sides stressed that the continuation of regional and global efforts, dialogue and mutual trust were enough to resolve all dossiers in order to stablise the region and set foundations for security and better future for countries and peoples of the region.

Sheikh Mohamed and the German minister also exchanged views on the latest developments in the region, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest.

Present in the meeting were Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority, Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary of the Crown Prince's Court, Nikolai von Schoepff, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the UAE and the accompanying delegation of the German Minister.

Mohamed bin Zayed appoints Executive Director at Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Court

General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed as Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, has issued a decree, appointing Ali Ghanim Murshid Al Rumaithi, as an Executive Director of Business Management Support Services at the Court of the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
