His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday General (Retd.) John Allen, Special US Presidential Envoy for the Global Coalition to Counter ISIL (GCCISIL).
The meeting discussed the coalition's operations against Daesh and best ways to tackle the menace of this terrorist group.
During the meeting, Sheikh Mohamed re-affirmed UAE's support to all international efforts aimed at countering terrorist groups, including Daesh which pose a threat to security and peace in the region.
"Rejecting extremism and terrorism and countering criminal and disruptive acts that contradict human values, is a key for the region's peace, security and stability," he added.
The meeting was attended by Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, Lt. General Hamad Mohamed Thani Al Romaithi, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces and Barbara Leaf, US Ambassador to the UAE.
Mohamed bin Zayed restructures NRC's Board of Directors
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has issued a resolution, pertaining to restructuring of the Board of Directors of the National Rehabilitation Centre (NRC) in Abu Dhabi, under chairmanship of Rashid Saeed Salem Al Amri.
The resolution stipulates that Hassan Ahmed Hassan Al Alkeem Al Za'abi, Dr. Matar Rashid Mohammed Al Haita Al Darmaki, Abdullah Abdul Aali Abdullah Al Humaidan, Colonel Abdel Moneim Al Sayed Mohammed Al Hashimi, representative of the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police and representative of the public prosecutor of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi will be members of the Board.
