Mohamed bin Zayed, Sultan Qaboos meet

General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman discussed on Tuesday ways of cementing bilateral ties to serve mutual interests of the two brotherly countries and people.

During the audience, which took place at Bait Al Barakah, Sultan Qaboos welcomed Sheikh Mohamed and his entourage, wishing the UAE-Oman ties further progress, cooperation and prosperity.

Sheikh Mohamed conveyed to Sultan Qaboos regards of the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his best wishes for further progress and prosperity for the Omani people.

For his part, Sultan Qaboos asked Sheikh Mohamed to convey his best wishes of good health and happiness to Sheikh Khalifa and his wishes for further progress and welfare for UAE people.

The meeting reviewed the ever-growing fraternal bilateral ties and progress the joint cooperation and coordination are witnessing in all spheres in light of the keen interest of leaderships in the countries to achieve comprehensive development. The two sides emphasised their determination to maintain bilateral cooperation and mutual consultations and coordination to serve common interests and push forward joint GCC action.

Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal bin Saud Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Affairs, and Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouie, Undersecretary of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, attended the meeting.

Sheikh Mohamed was received upon arrival earlier on Tuesday at the Royal Airport by Sayyid Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal bin Saud Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, a number of Omani senior officials and Abdul Reda Khoury, UAE Ambassador to Oman.
