Mohammed at RTA's 2030 plan workshop

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has attended part of a workshop which explored the 2030 plans of the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai, including innovative solutions to improve mobility in the city.

Sheikh Mohammed, who was accompanied by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and attendees, were presented the latest solutions and developments in the transport and communications sector, the most important challenges facing Dubai in this vital sector, and innovative solutions that can be used for addressing those challenges.

During the workshop, which attracted the participation of international experts, Mattar Al Tayer, Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the RTA, presented a summary of the desired objectives which create a competitive environment that provides global standards for transportation systems, and innovative solutions to improve the transport in the city.

Mohammed attends graduation ceremony

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, today received guest attendees of the 40th batch of Zayed II Military College graduation ceremony, at the college's Majlis in Al Ain.

Attending guests included senior armed forces officers, heads of diplomatic missions, and military attaches in embassies of brotherly and friendly countries in the country.

During the ceremony, guests congratulated His Highness Sheikh Mohammed on the graduation of the new batch of the sons of the nation and Arab countries.

The reception was attended by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler`s Representative in the Eastern Region, Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor, Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, along with a number of Sheikhs and senior military officials.
