Mohammed bin Rashid and Mohamed bin Zayed receive IDEX delegations

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, have received heads of delegations participating in the 13th edition of the International Defence Exhibition and Conference, IDEX 2017, and the 4th edition of the Naval Exhibition and Defence Conference, Navdex 2017.

The reception was attended by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Qaiwain, Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras al-Khaimah, and Dr. Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Speaker of the Federal National Council.

Their Highnesses welcomed the guests, including President Rustam Minnikhanov of the Republic of Tatarstan and President Omar al-Bashir of the Republic of Sudan.

Also present were Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, and Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, along with a number of leaders and officers of the armed forces.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan conferred the Zayed Medal (First Class) upon President al-Bashir, in recognition of his stances and those of the sisterly Republic of Sudan towards Arab issues.
