Mohammed bin Rashid Est. distributes 4100 smart cards of Ramadan Ration by donation of Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum

The Mohammed bin Rashid Charity and Humanitarian Establishment has launched one of its charitable programmes for the Holy Month of Ramadan, aiming at distributing basic foodstuff to the needy and poor families in the emirate of Dubai and northern areas.

The gesture comes as part of a donation by H.H Sheikha Hind bint Juma Al Maktoum, wife of UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum on the advent of the Holy Month.

The project, pertaining to the smart card of Ramadan Ration, which will be implemented for the six year in a row. Over 4100 families benefit the project with an amount of AED 2,590,000 million, with an increase of 1100 beneficiaries in comparison to last year.

Ibrahim Boumelha Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation expressed his gratitude and thanks to Sheikha Hind for her moral and material support for various charitable projects, undertaken by the Foundation for the benefit of the citizens and residents expatriates, particularly in the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Boumelha, in a press conference, held yesterday at the Foundation's headquarters in Mamzar Area, explained that the distribution of Ramadan Ration through smart magnetic cards to the needy families, is an ambitious idea, implemented by the philanthropic body.

He added that project comes in the light of the foundation's efforts to meet the needs of low-income people from basic foodstuff in Ramadan.
