Mohammed bin Zayed receives Eid wishers

General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE. Armed Forces, received on Tuesday morning a number of Eid Al Adha well-wishers at Al Mushrif Palace.

Sheikh Mohammed received and exchanged Eid greetings with crown princes and deputy rulers. He exchanged greetings with Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Quwain, Sheikh Abdullah bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Deputy Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, Mohammed Ahmed Al Murr, Speaker of the Federal National Council, and Abdullah Al Masoud, Chairman of the National Consultative Council. 

He also exchanged greetings with a number of sheikhs, senior officials and a number of senior armed forces' officers, senior police officers, senior security officers, members of the diplomatic corps, representatives of international organisations, dignitaries, Emiratis and expatriates.

The well-wishers extended their greetings to the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, wishing prosperity to the UAE.

Sheikh Mohamed expressed his gratitude to the well-wishers, wishing more prosperity, security and stability to UAE led by Sheikh Khalifa.

Earlier, General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed performed Eid Al Adha prayers on Tuesday morning at the Zayed Grand Mosque.

Counsellor Ali Al Hashimi, Religious and Judicial Adviser at the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, delivered the Eid sermon in which he praised Allah, referring to Islam as a tolerant religion that does not discriminate on the basis of colour, gender and race, saying, "We mark Eid Al Adha, a day on which Allah forgives those who repented and rewards philanthropists and believers."

He underlined that Islam calls for unity and solidarity, noting that on the day of Eid, people forget conflicts and exchange heartfelt greetings.

Al Hashimi said Eid is a reminder of solidarity and duties towards the nation in all circumstances. He asked Allah for mercy over the soul of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Al Hashimi wished well for UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Members of the Supreme Council, Their Highnesses the Rulers of Emirates and General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and the crown princes of the emirates.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and sheikhs visited the tomb of the late Sheikh Zayed, where they prayed for his soul, asking Allah to rest his soul in peace in the light of his great services to his people and country.

Sharjah Ruler performs Eid prayer, receives well-wishers

Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, performed Eid Al Adha prayer at Al Badee Musalla in Sharjah on Tuesday.

A number of sheikhs, members of the Sharjah Executive and Consultative Councils, dignitaries and worshippers also performed prayers.

The preacher, in his sermon, urged Muslims to abide to the rituals of Eid Day.

At the end of the sermon, he prayed to Allah to keep the UAE in permanent security and Dr. Sheikh Sultan exchanged greetings with the audience on the occasion.

Later, Sheikh Sultan received Eid well-wishers at Al Badee Al Amer Palace, in the presence of Sheikh Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah. The well-wishers wished him good luck, more progress for the UAE under its wise leadership of the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Their Highnesses the Rulers of the Emirates.

Greetings were also received from top officials, dignitaries, members of the Sharjah Executive and Consultative Councils, heads of federal and local departments, senior police officers, educational figures, tribal leaders, Emiratis and expatriate residents.

RAK Ruler receives Eid well-wishers, offers Eid prayers

Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, received Eid Al Adha well-wishers on Tuesday at Khuzam Palace.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, attended the meeting.

Greetings were received from sheikhs, dignitaries, top officials and heads of local and federal departments and police officers wishing good health for the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and more progress and prosperity for the people of the U.A.E.

A number of sheikhs attended the meeting.

Earlier, Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi offered Eid Al Adha prayers on Tuesday at the Grand Eid Musalla in the Khuzam area of Ras Al Khaimah.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi performed prayers along with Sheikh Saud.

A number of sheikhs, citizens and members of Arab and Islamic communities also performed Eid prayers with the RAK Ruler.

The preacher, in his sermon, mentioned a number of rituals and characteristics that an individual and a community should have.

Fujairah Ruler receives Eid well-wishers, offers prayers

Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, received Eid Al Adha well-wishers on Tuesday at Al Rumaila Palace.

Greetings were received from sheikhs, key officials, dignitaries, heads of federal departments, top army and police officers, members of Arab, and Islamic and foreign communities wishing him good health, and the UAE under the leadership of the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, more progress and prosperity. 

A number of officials attended the meetings.

Earlier, Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi performed Eid Al Adha prayers on Tuesday at the Grand Musalla in Fujairah.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi accompanied the Fujairah Ruler.

The preacher, Sheikh Abdullah Al Saadi, highlighted the importance of Eid Al Adha, adding that Eid consolidates communication and cohesion among people.

A the end of the sermon, the preacher prayed to Allah to support the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Their Highnesses Rulers of the Emirates and General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.

UAQ Ruler receives Eid well-wishers, offers prayers

Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Quwain, received on Tuesday morning a group of well-wishers who came to greet him on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.

Sheikh Saud received greetings from sheikhs, heads of the local and federal departments, senior officials, tribal leaders, Emiratis and expatriates. They all wished the Umm Al Quwain Ruler well, and wished more prosperity to the UAE led by the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The Ruler also accepted greetings from senior police officers and officials.

Sheikh Khalid bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Chief of the Emiri Court in Umm Al Quwain, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Head of the Department of Museums in Umm Al Quwain, Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, other sheikhs and officials were present.

Earlier, Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla and Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla performed Eid prayers on Tuesday morning at Sheikh Zayed Mosque.

Sheikh Humaid bin Ahmed Al Mu'alla, Sheikh Khalid bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Chief of the Emiri Court in Umm Al Quwain, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council, other sheikhs and senior officials offered their prayers alongside the Ruler of Umm Al Quwain.

Al Sheikh Mohammed Ibrahim Humaid delivered the Eid sermon in which he described Eid day as a day for major pilgrimage and solidarity among Muslims. He noted that on this day Muslims slaughter sacrificial animals to come closer to Allah and share meat with relatives and neighbours.

Humaid prayed for Allah to preserve the UAE, and the well-being of the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Members of Supreme Council, Their Highnesses the Rulers of Emirates.

Ajman CP gets Eid greetings from Arab, Islamic and foreign consuls

Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, received on Tuesday consuls general of Arab, Islamic and foreign countries accredited to the UAE, who called on him to offer him best wishes on the advent of Eid Al Adha.

Sheikh Ammar also accepted Eid greetings from a number of well-wishers including sheikhs, ministers, senior officials, diplomats and dignitaries.
