General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Monday received at Al Bahr Palace a Pakistani delegation led by Shahbaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister and delegate of Pakistani Prime Minister.
Sheikh Mohammed reviewed with the visiting Pakistani delegation bilateral ties and means of bolstering them within the context of distinguished bilateral friendship and mutual interests. The two parties also discussed avenues of existing joint cooperation in order to realise aspirations of the two friendly countries and people towards broader horizons of development in various fields that serve interest of the two countries.
Sheikh Mohammed asserted that the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan's directives to support Pakistan in humanitarian, relief and development fields come within the framework of the special ties of friendship and cooperation that bond the two countries and out of UAE's belief in the importance of solidarity with friendly countries and assisting them to address developmental challenges they are facing.
The Pakistani delegation expressed appreciation to the UAE for its humanitarian stances towards the Pakistani people, notably the UAE Project to Assist Pakistan and other health, educational and infrastructure initiatives that aim to alleviate suffering of natural disaster-affected people.

Receives President of Guinea
General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Monday received at Al Bahr Palace President Alpha Conde of Guinea.
President Conde is currently visiting the country to attend the conference on partnership, development and investment on Guinea, organised by the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
During the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed and President Conde discussed relations of cooperation and ways of boosting them, particularly in economic and investment sectors, for serving mutual interests of the two friendly countries. They also exchanged views on a variety of issues of common interest.
Sheikh Mohammed affirmed that the UAE, under the leadership of the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is keen to cultivate relations with friendly countries and cooperate with them in various fields for strengthening joint action.
For his part, the president of Guinea expressed his appreciation for the UAE's support for economy in his country through partnerships with government and private sectors. He also thanked the UAE for the initiatives it launched, notably the recent conference in Abu Dhabi, for enhancing joint economic partnership and welcomed joint investment and projects.
He expressed his country's interest to benefit from the UAE development experiment.
