Mohammed, Gen. Mohamed hold talks with Kuwait Emir

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, hold talks with the Emir of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, have held talks with the Emir of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah.

They discussed the deep-rooted ties between the UAE and Kuwait and ways to strengthen them in the best interest of the two peoples.  

The Vice-President and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi expressed their satisfaction about the steady growth of fraternal relations that reflect the interest of the two peoples. 

The two sides also reviewed the relations in the light of joint cooperation and coordination, thanks to the follow up of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

They also discussed the GCC joint work, stressing the support of both countries to the existing ties among the member states.
The two sides tackled the latest regional and international developments, and exchanged views on issues of mutual concern

Among others present were Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Secretary-General of the GCC, Salah Mohammed Al Baijan, Kuwait's Ambassador to UAE and a number of senior officials.

The Emir of Kuwait then concluded his short visit to the UAE.
