Mohammed leads UAE delegation to GCC Summit
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, arrived in Riyadh leading a delegation to participate in the Consultative Summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) leaders due to open here later on Tuesday.
He was received at the Royal Hall of the King Khalid Air Base by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz, other members of the royal family, ministers and senior military and civilian officials in Saudi Arabia.
Charge d' Affairs at the UAE Embassy in Riyadh Ahmed Mohammed Bushuwirib and other members of the diplomatic mission were also present.
Upon arrival at the airbase, Sheikh Mohammed was welcomed by Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, Emir of Riyadh Region and they inspected the guard of honour.
Sheikh Mohammed is accompanied by a high level delegation including Lt General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister; Mohammed Abdullah Al Gargawi, Minister for Cabinet Affairs; Dr Anwar Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs; Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs; Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director General of the Ruler of Dubai office and Lt General Misbah Rashid Al Fattan, Director of the Office of H.H. Vice-President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
