Mohammed received by King Hamad in Manama

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, arrived in the Bahraini capital on Thursday to participate in the opening ceremony of the Bahrain International Air Show (Bias) 2012 which started today.

Sheikh Mohammed and the accompanying delegation arrived on board an 'Airbus 380' belonging to Emirates airline.

They were received upon arrival by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain, Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and a number of sheikhs, and Bahraini ministers.

Sheikh Mohammed and King Hamad then opened the Royal Hospitality Hall at the new Sakhir Airbase in the presence of a large gathering of sheikhs, ministers and guests.

The delegation accompanying Sheikh Mohammed includes Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chairman of Emirates Group, Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director General at the Diwan of His Highness the Ruler of Dubai, Mohammed Juma Al Naboodah, Ahmed Al Shaikh Director General of the Information Office of the Government of Dubai and a number of other officials.
