Mohammed receives Iranian FM

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received  Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif and his accompanying delegation at his palace at Za'beel.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, attended the meeting.

Sheikh Mohammed and Mohammad-Javad Zarif exchanged talks on the bilateral relations between the UAE and Iran, the situation in the region, in addition to ways to enhance basis of peace and stability for their peoples and world.

Sheikh Mohammed received an official invitation from Dr. Hassan Rouhani, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, to visit Tehran and he accepted and appreciated the invitation.

Among those who attended the meeting were Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Group, Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State, Mohammed Ibrahim AI Shaibani, Director-General of His Highness the Ruler's Court, Government of Dubai, Major General Mohammad Ahmad Al Qamzi, Saif Mohammed Al Zaabi, UAE Ambassador to Iran, and the Iranian Ambassador to the UAE, Mohammad Reza Fayad.

Mohammed attends Camel Racing Festival

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum attended yesterday the camel race festival held at Al Marmoum racetrack as part of the Al Marmoum Heritage Camel Racing Festival.

Present at the race were  Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, Adviser to UAE President and Chairman of the Camel Racing Federation Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Al Murr bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum.

Al Asifa stables camel, Bellora, won the 8-km race finishing in 12:46:3 minutes.

Concluding the races, Sheikh Al Murr bin Maktoum bin Jumaa Al Maktoum distributed trophies and prizes to winners.
