Mohammed-Zayani discuss Yemen initiative

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received on Wednesday at Zabeel Palace in Dubai, the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States, Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, was present.

During the meeting Sheikh Mohammed and Al Zayani exchanged views on the GCC activities and importance of joint work among the member countries to boost peace and stability in the region.

They also tackled the Special GCC Initiative on Yemen, which is aimed at realising stability and national unity for the Yemeni people.

Al Zayani lauded the UAE's positive role in all the GCC issues, being the chair of current session.

The meeting was also attended by Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Group, Reem Ibrahim Al Hashimi, State Minister and Dubai Director of Protocol and Hospitality Khalifa Saeed Suleiman.

Mohammed attends graduation ceremony

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, attended the graduation ceremony of the Leadership programmes of Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development (MBRCLD).

Also present were Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and  Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai.

The ceremony was also attended by Humaid Obaid Al Qattami, Minister of Education, and Chairman of the Human Resource Federal Authority; Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Owais, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, Reem Ibrahim Al Hashemi, Minister of State; Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shaibani, Director-General of His Highness the Ruler of Dubai's Court along with a number of sheikhs and heads of government departments and senior officials in the state.

Sheikh Mohammed honoured three batches of 315 young leaders.

Young Leaders program is a level of Mohammed Bin Rashid Programme for Leadership Development that aims to qualify young leaders through training programs and workshops in line with the strategic plans and long-term aspirations of Dubai.

MBRCLD has been established in line with the vision and directions of Sheikh Mohammed; who has underscored the critical importance of a highly competent national professional workforce to ensure the country's global sustainability. Hence, MBRCLD offers leadership programs that aim to qualify the future leaderships of UAE public and private sectors, in order to establish an assembly of unique talented individuals having distinguished potentials, knowledge, skills and experience within all sectors of UAE
