Sheikh Sultan and Sheikh Saud along with crown princes and other sheikhs and officials offer funeral prayers on Friday (WAM)
President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, dispatched condolence cables to His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council member and Ruler of Sharjah, on death of his brother Sheikh Humaid bin Mohammed bin Saqr Al Qasimi.
President Khalifa and Sheikh Mohammed expressed their profound sorrow and solace to the bereaved family. May Almighty Allah rest his soul in peace.
Meanwhile, Sheikh Sultan and Sheikh Saud performed the funeral prayer at King Faisal Mosque after Friday prayer, on the body of Sheikh Humaid bin Mohammed bin Saqr Al Qasimi.
Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah; Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah; Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman; Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Quwain, other sheikhs and senior officials were present at the funeral prayers alongside the Rulers of Sharjah and RAK.
Accompanied by sheikhs, senior officials and group of mourners, the two rulers headed to Jubail Cemetery in Sharjah to bury the deceased.
