Sheikh Hamdan names new board of Al Shabab Al Arabi Club

Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of Dubai Sports Council His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has issued resolution forming new board of director of Al Shabab Al Arabi Club.

The Resolution names Sami Ahmad Dhaen Al Qamzi as Chairman of the Board of Trustees. Members of the Board include Khalid Essa Buhumaid, Mohammed Mattar Al-Marri, Jamal Hamed Al-Marri, Youcef Ahmed bin Ghalitah, Mohammed Hassan Al-Shahi, Fares Mohammed Al-Mutawa, Khalifa Abdullah Hareb, Omar Hamad Bu Shehab. The Board serves for a renewable term of four years.

According to the Resolution, the new board is tasked to work in accordance to statutes of the club, as well as the laws and regulations issued by Dubai Sports Council.

Other duties of the board includes managing the day to day operations of the club, setting up an executive department of operations, inventory all the belongings of the club, and auditing in the club’s book, issue decisions related to the club’s HR and finance, among many other duties.

The Resolution also set the procedures of setting meetings of the board of directors and periodic reports.

This Resolution is effective from the date of issuance, and annuls any other resolutions that contradict it.
