Sheikh Mohammed seeks ideas from UAE youth

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has announced a two-day retreat next week with officials and young people of the country to generate a National Youth Dialogue.

In a series of tweets on his official Twitter account, Sheikh Mohammed said the UAE is a young country, one that is proud of its youth and eager to capatalise on the new ideas and energy they bring.

The official hashtag for the two-day retreat will be #NationalYouthDialogue, with Sheikh Mohammed sharing details of the event, saying: “Over the coming days, our focus will be on UAE youth: their dreams, aspirations and challenges, through holding a #NationalYouthDialogue

“What do we want from the young? What do they want from us? How do we help them achieve their ambitions and dreams?”

He continued: “We want your ideas on the #NationalYouthDialogue hashtag to discuss them during a two-day retreat next week with officials and young people.

“Most of our nation is made up of our youth: our future is in their hands.

“We are a young country, proud of its youth. #NationalYouthDialogue”
