Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, on Wednesday visited the 42nd edition of Arab Health Exhibition and Congress, the region’s largest gathering of healthcare and trade professionals, being held at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

This year’s Arab Health features an additional 400 exhibitors, with 4,400 companies showcasing their latest innovations.

During his visit, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid was briefed about a number of national and foreign exhibitors showcasing latest programmes, innovative medical devices and healthcare services, especially the smart ones, which provide patients access to modern and innovative equipment. He was accompanied by Abdul Rahman bin Mohammad bin Nasser Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention, Humaid Al Qatami, Chairman of the Board and Director-General of Dubai Health Authority, and other senior officials.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed expressed his satisfaction over the huge participation of the UAE and foreign exhibitors at the event, noting that the massive financial resources allocated by the federal and local governments for the development and improvement of healthcare services would ensure a healthy lifestyle for the members of the community.

''We want healthy, safe community members who are active and generous in their giving and devotion to their homeland and community,'' he said.
