Three newly appointed Dubai Courts judges took their oaths of office before His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai at the Ruler’s Court in Dubai on Monday.
The oath taking ceremony was held in the presence of Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Dubai Deputy Ruler Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
Sheikh Mohammed wished them success and told them to set an example by being honest, neutral and devoted, saying, "Justice is everyone's right and the law prevails above all and no one is above the law."
The new judges are Mohammed Ahmed Rashid Al Nuaimi, Tariq Yacoub Yousuf Al Khayyat and Ahmed Ali Al Hamad Al Dhanhani.
Also present at the ceremony were Director of Dubai Ruler's Court Mohammed Ibrahim Al Shebani, Commander General of Dubai Police Lt. General Dahi Khalfan Tamim, Dubai Public Prosecutor Essam Al Humaidan, Director General of Dubai Courts Dr. Ahmed bin Hazeem Al Suwaidi, Head of the Court of First Instance Judge Jassem Baqer and other senior officials.
