The Foreign Ministry has urged UAE citizens to avoid travelling to Russia and asked those who are already in Moscow to leave the country.
The Russian capital and its suburbs are currently engulfed by a thick blanket of smoke from wildfire.
Sultan Al Ali, Director of Media and Communications Affairs at the ministry, said the ministry is co-ordinating with the UAE Embassy in Moscow to maintain contacts with the UAE citizens there.
