Judicial officials from the UAE and South Africa started in Abu Dhabi on Monday the second round of talks on proposed agreements on extradition and mutual legal assistance on criminal matters.
Judge Abdul Rahman Al Balouchi, Director of International Cooperation Department, Ministry of Justice, who led the UAE negotiators, said the talks complemented the round of discussions that took place in South Africa last year.
"Discussions will continue over the next three days to reach a final common drafts for the two agreements," he added.
