UAE VP receives Ramadan greetings from RAK Ruler, Crown Princes

Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, on Monday received H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras al-Khaimah, Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras al-Khaimah, and Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, who came to Zabeel Palace to extend greetings on the Holy Month of Ramadan.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid also received senior military, security and police commanders in the presence of sheikhs and senior officials.

In remarks he made during the meeting, he urged the commanders to stay vigilant to protect the security and stability of the country, society and national gains.

He further emphasised that performance of security and police services should be advanced while co-ordinating efforts in how to serve higher national interests, protect people and public and private property and achieve the highest levels of social and economic stability across the UAE.

He also praised the Armed Forces for playing a key role in times of peace and war. He said the Armed Forces are the invincible bulwark that shatters the designs and greedy ambitions of those who conspire against the UAE's national and humanitarian achievements.

Later, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid hosted an iftar banquet that was attended by all the guests.

Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Group; H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation; H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum; Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs; Lt. General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Mattar Ali Al Dhaheri, Under-secretary at the Ministry of Defence; Lt. General Saif Abdullah Al Shafaar, Under-secretary at the Ministry of Interior; Lt. General Mohammed Abdulraheem Al Ali, Assistant Under-secretary at the Ministry of Defence, commanders of the branches of the Armed Forces and military, security and police officers.
