UAQ waives fines on expired trade licences

Crown Prince of Umm Al Quwain Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla has issued an executive order to exempt the owners of expired commercial, industrial and professional licences from the fines at the time of their renewal at the Department of Economic Development in the emirate.

The waiver will be valid for a period of one month from the date of the order.

The Department has urged all those who own expired licences to follow up with the Licensing Section to take advantage of this opportunity.

Chairman of the UAQ Department of Economic Development Sheikh Saif bin Rashid Al Mualla said in a statement that the generous gesture of the Crown Prince will encourage investment and support the economic sector in the Emirate.
