Hadi's commitment to peace talks

Yemeni President Abd-Rabbuh Mansour Hadi on Tuesday reiterated his keen interest in continued peace talks in Kuwait in response to calls from friendly and brotherly countries and the United Nations.

He was speaking during a meeting with his advisors in Riyadh to discuss peace talks.

Hadi stressed that the solid foundations of peace talks are resolutions of the international legitimacy, including Resolution 2216, the Gulf Cooperation Council's Initiative and the outcome of the National Dialogue Conference, according to the Yemeni state news agency.

He noted that the Yemeni government continues to make efforts to achieve peace for citizens despite the fact that the coup perpetrators are dragging on the negotiations.
