His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, has announced the establishment of the second Rashid Village in Zanzibar to provide a decent life.
The initiative commemorates the legacy of the late Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in humanitarian work through the establishment of model villages that provide the essentials of a dignified life for families, including housing, education, healthcare, and social services.
He posted a video on his Instagram account in which he said: "Goodness does not stop once it begins to make its way and leave a lasting impact. Today, we are announcing the second village of 'Rashid Villages' in Zanzibar to provide a decent life. Education and training. Job opportunities. Sustainable homes. Empowerment and stability. The giving continues, and the impact remains."
