Kiss goes amiss, Arab in RAK court

Ras Al Khaimah Courts received a case where a young Arab man kissed the hand of a lady in her 60s at one of the emirate’s hotels.

The woman, an expat, got very angry and her husband complained to the authorities, ‘Al Bayan’ reports.
The man explained that he kissed her hand spontaneously as he considered her in the position of his mother,  and he did it in front of everyone in the hotel, including her husband.

The defence has demanded that the accused be freed of charges against him and that the act does not fit with the charge against the man, which is outraging the modesty of a woman.
