Life term for duo with heroin in capsules

The Dubai Criminal Court awarded life in jail to an Afghani and a Pakistani for possessing 186 capsules of heroin for trade purposes.
A 39-year-old policeman testified that on December 13, 2009, at around 10pm police received a tip from a police informer about the two accused AKJ, Afghani and IKJ, Pakistani who possessed drugs for trade purpose and were peddlering in Naif area.
Police trapped the two by arranging a deal for one kilo gram of heroin for Dh60,000. The two were arrested red handed possessing 186 capsules that contained heroin.
The court presided by Judge Al Saeed Mohammed Barghouth, found them guilty and awarded life in jail term each. The court ordered their deportation after serving their term and the confiscation of the heroin.
