Man's new name: Bacon Double Cheeseburger

A man's name should reflect his personality to a certain extent. You would, more or less, agree.

However, Sam Smith from Muswell Hill took this concept to a new level when he decided to change his name by deed poll to Bacon Double Cheeseburger.

The gas consultant told Evening Standard, a daily in the UK, that he wanted his new name to reflect his love for the burger.

He agrees that he had guzzled too many drinks and it was the most absurd name that he could come up with in his drunken state.

The 33-year-old has a lot to be thankful for, including the good humour of his colleagues. At home, while his father found the change hilarious, his mother was absolutely furious with him.

BD Cheeseburger does not regret his decision for his name has brought a smile to many faces.

However, he has to now find a solution as his fiancée seems reluctant about marrying a 'Cheeseburger'.
